2017 Summer Programs
Program Info

Stay busy this summer with summer offerings from our amazing community partners and service providers. Contact info is noted below for each of the different programs.

 

Breakaway Classic Kids Camp | June 19th-23rd | 9:00am-12:30pm

A week-long, fast-paced, day camp for kids at Leataata Floyd Elementary School. Breakaway provides healthy food, exercise, music, dancing, and action- packed fun in a faith based atmosphere.

  • STARTS MONDAY, JUNE 19TH!
  • Please arrive to Leataata Floyd at 8:30 am for breakfast and registration!
  • Please have your child wear closed-toed shoes, and clothes that can get wet or dirty.
  • Parents/Families can register their child the first day of camp.

 

VISIONS 2000 College Prep & Math Academy | June 19th-July 14th | 7:30-1:30pm

A college prep math and reading academy hosted at California State University Sacramento.

  • STARTS MONDAY, JUNE 19TH!
  • If your child is registered for camp, please have them arrive to Leataata Floyd at 7:20am for bus pick up.

Freedom School | June 26-August 4th | 8:00-3:00pm

The CDF Freedom Schools® program seeks to build strong, literate, and empowered children prepared to make a difference in themselves, their families, communities, nation and world today.

  • Starts Monday, June 26th! Please arrive at 8:00am for breakfast.

Breakaway Academy| June 26th -August 4th| 8:00-3:00pm

Breakaway Academy is an academic program for students attending Leataata Floyd Elementary School. The Academy provides six weeks of rigorous academic instruction. Through a fun and holistic learning environment, the program aims to reduce summer learning loss, increase reading skills, and promote academic success.

  • Breakaway Academy Registration has ended; there are no open slots available.
  • Starts Monday, June 26th. Please arrive at 8:00am for check-in and breakfast.
